From those early days with my daughter, to having Sophie as part of the team, Pretty Stories has always been about people.
Pretty Stories was created after over 10 years of owning and running its sister brand, Dress Me Pretty Bridal Room.
What started as something small during lockdown styling outfits from home and sharing how to wear them as we stepped back into everyday life quickly grew into something much bigger. The response was incredible, and orders came flooding in.
In those early days, my daughter helped me with so much of it and that support will always be a special part of how Pretty Stories began.
Not long after, Pretty Stories found its home just two doors down from the bridal shop a space that felt like a natural next step.
Helping women look and feel great has always been a huge part of what I do, but I knew I didn’t want that to stop with brides. With a background in fashion and a lifelong love of styling, everything just seemed to fall into place.
I’ve always lived locally and have a real love for community. There’s nothing better than seeing someone leave feeling more confident than when they walked in, it’s what drives everything we do.
As Pretty Stories has grown, so has the team. Sophie has been a big part of the shop since opening and helps our customers every day bringing the same passion for making women feel comfortable, confident, and like themselves.
So many women feel unsure about what to wear or how to dress for their shape, and creating a space to change that became incredibly important to me.
Since 2020, Pretty Stories has continued to grow year on year, reaching more women who are looking for something different. A place to shop in person, away from the high street, with carefully chosen pieces from Italy and beyond.
Today, Pretty Stories is more than just a shop, it’s a space where women can come, feel comfortable, and find pieces that feel like them.
